Adding Payment Modes
Except for the default payment modes: Cash, Cheque, Debit/Credit cards, Classcard also allows you to add alternate payment modes. You can now add and manage payment modes while recording payments, by following these simple steps:
While recording a payment, in the Payment mode field, you may select one of the existing payment modes from the Select payment mode drop-down menu.
To add a new payment mode, you can click on the Add mode option at the bottom of the drop-down menu. The Manage payment modes box appears.
Under the listed ‘Default modes’, you can edit the Custom modes by changing the names of the payment options or deleting them. You can also click on the Add custom payment mode option (indicated by the + sign) and fill in the details, which are auto-updated.
You can change the order of the Custom modes by clicking on the three lines on the left side of the boxes and dragging them up and down. Click on Save once you have added and edited the required payment modes.
Alternatively, in the Record payment box, you may click on Manage, next to the ‘Select payment mode’ drop-down menu. The Manage payment modes box appears. Follow the same steps as listed above to add your desired custom payment modes.
