Lessonspace Integration
Lessonspace simplifies online teaching with its robust suite of tools. It includes features like video conferencing, text chat, interactive whiteboards, document editing, and coding support, making virtual instruction seamless and efficient.
Login to your 'Lessonspace' account and on the dashboard, scroll down to Develop with our API section and click on the Get your API key button.
On the following page, which is the Settings page, copy the API key to your clipboard.
Then, log in to your Classcard account, navigate to the Integrations menu, choose the Video tab, select the Lessonspace option, and paste the API key you copied from Lessonspace. Finally, click Save!
Once the key is successfully added, Classcard can automatically set up a space for online teaching classes.
Navigate to the Calendar menu on the left side of the screen.
Click anywhere on the calendar, or click on the Add new button on the right side of the screen and select Class.
Fill in all the required details, scroll down to the Location section, choose Lessonspace from the drop-down menu, and voila! A link will be generated for your class.
If you've specified a different location or set up repeats for a class, you can always switch the location to Lessonspace by...
Navigate to the Calendar and click on the class you'd like to edit.
Click on the Edit option in the top right corner.
Scroll down to the Location section and change it to Lessonspace.
💡 In case of editing a repeating class, navigate to the date you'd like to edit the classes from and click on it. Then, click on the 'Manage' button on the left panel.
Note: Changing the location will affect only future classes.
